Meet Mia: Ceramicist + Textile Artist in Savannah, GA

A woman with purple hair styled in a bun, wearing a black sleeveless top, black and white patterned pants, and blue shoes, standing outdoors in front of a two-tone wall, holding a black tray and a blue dish, smiling

Mia is a textile + surface designer based in the Georgia lowcountry city of Savannah.  She has been creating with a focus on textile-based textures, color, and pattern throughout her artistic journey. Mia’s marbling and ceramics embody her signature pattern clash style with an emphasis on the fluid motion of the materials at hand.  The goal is never perfection but rather what the colors can teach us.

Currently living her creative life exploring tarot and expanding her knowledge as an herbalist, Mia can often be found lounging on her veranda with a chenin blanc and a good book when not in the studio.

Shop in person at City Market Arts Center, Gallery 103 in Savannah, GA where you can experience the pieces firsthand and select directly from the collection.
