The first piece in an ongoing series, made to be lived with and passed down
Part of my Offering Collection, this vessel began the way so much of my work does — with materials moving on their own terms. Red Georgia clay, stoneware, and dyed porcelain were marbled together while still raw, long before any glaze or fire touched the surface. What you see is the record of that process, not a design laid on top of it.
The form rises unevenly, like something uncovered rather than built, with two side pockets meant to hold small offerings of your choosing. A place to set something down with intention, and let it stay there.
This is the first vessel in a series I plan to keep growing — each one a little different, each one shaped by the same raw, unhurried process.
