Striped Bead Clay Necklace
I love making these chunky beaded necklaces and think of them as a sort of mental palette cleanser in the studio. Since I normally work with many colors in my pottery and marbling, the simple line work and doodle styles of these beads give me a pleasant shift in focus. Like everything else in the shop, these are one of a kind and crafted with much love and care in my Savannah studio. This set of beads has an extra special detail added, the center bead was painted with real gold luster!
Ceramic beads are hand-formed and painted, then strung onto soft waxed cotton cords. The fully adjustable cords make it possible to wear this necklace long or short.
