Tessera: Geometric Platter with Scalloped Rim
This handbuilt ceramic serving platter was made using my signature inlay technique, using stoneware clay as the foundation for a composition of geometric patterns created with dyed porcelain clay.
Measures approximately 12 inches in diameter and 3 inches at its highest point. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, with subtle variations that reflect its handcrafted nature. Hand washing recommended.
The black trim of this shallow bowl is glazed with food safe satin matte glaze, the center is treated with a professional pottery finish to showcase the natural texture of the clay.
